Can you ever have too much news? We’re going to test that possibility today.

This is a tour that some of you will probably go to.

This is a slightly weirder tour that some of you will probably go to.

Here’s some new Decrepit Birth. Album out July 21.

This new Leprous track is bound to be polarizing.

New Abhorrent Decimation video.

FYI That “Cellar Darling” link takes you to a Flush it Friday article. Not that I don’t love McNulty, but it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting.

    • Joaquin Stick

I have absolutely no clue how that could have happened. Not even a little bit.

      • Sir Ukkometso The Based

        What were you drinking?

        • Joaquin Stick

Funny you should ask, I finally got around to picking up some beer from the notorious Tree House Brewing Co. that has been mentioned on this very blog. Worth the hype. http://www.toiletovhell.com/on-the-road-with-dischordia-part-3/

Fuck me sideways…. I’m gonna down a beer. Fuck this song.

Huh. Don’t know what I expected (was hoping for some Slania-era style material, I guess) but that was thoroughly meh. Thanks for the link though!

        • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

The other two songs are quite a bit better, if you feel like checking them out. But all in all, it’s not living up to it’s potential.

  • Señor Jefe El Rossover

Seeing Point Blank live would kill!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • RepostedAvengedSevenfoldFan2

me and my girlfriend did it while listening to this whole album lol

W0000, new Circle album arrived early (release date this friday). That’s a gooooood. New Leprous song doesn’t sound bad, but not as good as some of their previous musick.

    • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

Been listening to the latest Circle for a couple o’ days. Is a good .

      • Sir Ukkometso The Based

It is. I am getting mighty wood from this. Coincidentally, Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen dvd arrived today as well. I’m pretty sure Rakkautta Al Dentte was played live last time I saw them live in 2015.

        • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

          Where’d ya grab Samurgai?

          • Sir Ukkometso The Based

            Äxäpäxä provided it to me.

          • Sir Ukkometso The Based

Looks like äx has dun out,but i’m preeetty sure ektro has some.

  • Howard Dean

Did you guys see the new report put out by SpaceX?! Musk is a madman. Big things planned in the near future:

  • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

I don’t know how that Leprous song would really be polarizing, sure it’s not really metal anymore, but this is probably the smallest leap between two albums – if this track is to be trusted – that they’ve made.

    • Joaquin Stick

Eh, you underestimate the metal world’s bitchiness.

      • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

I’d expect the majority of complaints being from people who didn’t enjoy Leprous ’til now, or haven’t for a while – not so much anyone that actually cares.

        • Joaquin Stick

Alright fine, from now on I’ll just post raw urls with no context.

          • Sir Ukkometso The Based

OR, just post empty articles. Let the readers figure shit out themselves.

          • more beer

That is how it was done before there were blogs.

          • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

            I like Sir — The Based’s idea.

          • Sir Ukkometso The Based

            That’s only natural. Olenhan renessanssinero.

    • The Tetrachord of Archytas

I felt the same way. I really liked it and it definitely felt like more of a continuation of the last one

  • Iron Tarkus

I’m eyeing up that Obituary tour if for no other reason than seeing Power Trip live again. Though Dust Bolt and Obituary themselves aren’t too shabby either.

  • Count_Breznak

As someone who had to suffer through one of their gigs, I can say that Leprous don’t polarize, the just plain suck.
They are as annoying as Muse, but without the ideas.

    • Joaquin Stick

This opinion is bad and you should feel bad.

  • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

Kidz Bop means Kiko’s gonna play solo(‘s) on Hevisaurus’ next record.
    @Freedom Jew , make a mental note.

    • Sir Ukkometso The Based

It’s good to see that he plays guitar in an actual good metal band for a change.

  • Joaquin Stick

New news! Sannhet album coming August 25.

  • TheGranulatingDarkSatanicMilfs

    You wrote “Akercocke” wrong

    • Joaquin Stick

      Ayykercocke

      • TheGranulatingDarkSatanicMilfs

Akercocke fronted by The Fonz = Ayykercocke

  • themaleshoegaze

I’d sure go and see Noisem.

Rest of the line-up? Not so much.

    • Dumpster Lung

Noisem is great, but dude, Nailbomb was the uh. . .bomb! It was the 90s, we can say that in this case.

      • themaleshoegaze

Wow, I would totally watch Nailbomb, I just plainly didn’t see their name in the line-up.

        • Dumpster Lung

          hahaha that’s better!

I actually wouldn’t mind seeing Soulfly playing Soulfly material as long as they didn’t play much old stuff (probably the ONLY band you’d want to avoid old material) , but I wouldn’t travel for it. They’d have to be coming right through town and on a night with no conflicting shows.

I wanted to check out Max/Igor Cavalera doing the Roots album, but across the street was Blood Incantation, so I had to see that. I’m curious how that Roots thing would’ve turned out anyway. I’m sure it’d be like 50% backing tracks probably. Now if they did an Arise or Beneath the Remains (or really anything from that era) tour, I’d drop everything haha.

          • themaleshoegaze

I saw Sepultura in the early Derrick Green phase and wasn’t too impressed – agewise I could have realistically gone to Chaos AD to Roots period Sepultura and I am sure it would have been massive, but, alas, it didn’t come to pass.
I’m not big on the other Cavalera-stuff, and I never got into Soulfly. But Nailbomb? – certainly!

          • Dumpster Lung

I like Cavalera Conspiracy, but it doesn’t even come close to classic Max-era Sep.

        • Dumpster Lung

Oh and I just noticed your username hahhaha. Nice!

          • themaleshoegaze

            Why, thank you!
