It’s spoopy week! I have a ton of news that should keep you occupied in your safety fort until Wednesday.

Thinkin’ real hard about buying tickets to this Decibel tour.

Autopsy released some new material, mini-album out December 15th. I don’t think this is part of the split they are releasing with Bloodbath.

The Body and Full of Hell released a track of their new collaboration. Album out November 17.

Sect released a one-minute-rip of new music. Album out November 27.

New Cavalera Conspiracy will be out November 17. Here’s a track.

That Cavalera song isn’t the worst thing I’ve heard today, tbh.

  • Señor Jefe El Rossover

New Cavalera tracks are pretty good to these ears. Would love to go to the decibel tour for Enslaved, but no gotdang Southern dates.

  • Howard Dean

When you hear that there’s some new Hooded Menace out there:

          SORRY. ABOUT YOUR BOY.

  • Joaquin Stick

That Boson track I linked to is really dang good, fyi. The highest of recommendations.

  • Depechemodeisgangsta

That Decibel tour is kind of cool, too bad is not even coming to close, which i totally understand.
I’m digging that Cavalera Conspiracy track, sad to say but CC is better than Soulfly since i actually like Soulfly but CC is just totally different more aggressive.

Didn’t report on Dear Hunter because although I thought the song was ok, I was pretty sure no one else would. And though that NeO album kicks ass, is it really a stream when it’s just out and available in the world? That news comes from Toilet Tuesday.

I have no excuse, other than extreme exhaustion, for the rest. Thanks RRoK.

      • Retchin’ Rites ov Karhu

Wasn’t sure when Urn was released, just snagged it from 365’s pile. Not got on that dear Hunter yet, but some of their older stuff is neat.

        • Joaquin Stick

It pretty stripped down and not super interesting, but I enjoy everything they do to some extent. Most of it is Fanboyism, I am aware.

    • BobLoblaw

      Kevin Hufnagel is brilliant.

  • Elegant Gazing Globe

Cavalera consipracy is going to be high on my list for 2017

p sure that Body/FoH is gonna make my list.

    • themaleshoegaze

Still think the one with Thou is the best The Body collab, but FoH with The Body have every chance to move past that (and FoH alone are the band I probably dig most out of these three.)

  • GoatForest

I want Dark Fortress to re-issue Stabwounds. That chap is far too rare.

  • HessianHunter

    That Boson shit is heavyyyyy

  • TheGranulatingDarkSatanicMilfs

First Oderus and now Balsac, wft

  • themaleshoegaze

Sect features Left for Dead/Cursed/Burning Love alum Colohan, which is pretty quickly recognizable in sound and vocals, good, but no standout in his oeuvre…

Am intrigued by new stuff by Moonspell, a band I had zero interest in, and no patience for before, but, is it possible that they’re really not bad? I’m confused.
