Aye, so did the Giants. Never mind, I have more free time in October now.
Go Cubs. Enjoy Jolene slowed down to 33rpm…..it’s beer thirty, mutants…..
On to the NHL season!
Once again I’ll I need to figure out where all the B.C. born players I would have recently seen in the WHL have ended up in the NHL, so I’m not stuck rooting for the Canucks by geographic default.
2 hours before I can peace out of this dump and acquire brews. Ugh.
GOOD: Starting yet another battle jacket. This one will be all bestial themed war metal bands. I got my patches all picked out and ordered. Same goes for the studs and spikes. The main back is Revenge, the shoulder patch will be Blasphemy, and the butt patch will be Conqueror. Some of the other patches to fill in black space will include Archgoat, Teitan Blood, Dead Congregation, Katharsis, Diocleation, Goatpenis (Hehe), Bestial Raids, and Black Witchery. Stoked to get working on it. Here is the main backpatch:
BAD: More money spent on my metal. I really need to find a cheaper hobby.
UGLY: My back, it’s real nasty. Been struggling with bacne for years. Gross.
Would Weregoat fit the bill?
I’m thinking Conqueror on the back, Judas Iscariot as the arse patch, Napalm Death and Order from Chaos on the sleeves, plus some other shit for mine.
It came with a shiny patch as well. Took me a minute to realise which way up it was supposed to be. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6ebe090f0222a22771aad0d03c194db2badae33236486f9a912a8ffc24728eb4.jpg
BESTIAL METAL IS LOVE. BESTIAL METAL IS LIFE.
This patch rules, have u said Teitanblood? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDmUagGCZX4
Good: New Wormrot is fire and is mopping the floor with the new Dillinger Escape Plan album.
Gooder: DEP/O’Brother/Cult Leader tomorrow night
Bad: Getting calls from recruiters about new jobs and hearing nothing the next day.
Ugly: Herpes (not me personally, just in general)
Really hope my Wormrot preorder is waiting for me when I get home.
It damn near floored me, so good.
I am skeptical of item 1.
Maybe DEP is a grower, the jury is still out on that one for me. Wormrot paid immediate dividends. I never buy more than one album at a time due to my short attention span, so that could a factor.
>Short attention span
I’m seeing a very familiar connection here…
I’ve been listening to a lot of grind lately,,,,,,a lot.
I think it may be a grower, the first two songs didn’t grab me immediately but I now I love both. But tracks like “Honeysuckle” did manage to grab me immediately.
GOOD: BEER IZ 4 BREAKFAST NOW!!!!!!!!
BAD:MISSED MEGADETH SHOW!!!!!!
Beer has always been for breakfast!
TRUE, BUT NEVER SAW ON LABEL BEFORE!!!!!!!
You’re not looking for the right beer. There are plenty of those.
GOOD: Feeling good, no pain. Haven’t had a drink in a couple o’ weeks, haven’t smoked. All in all pretty well.
BAD: ‘Cept that today I learned Imma gonna need another, slightly bigger, operation.
UGLY: All sliced and cut up.
Time to start your grind project
Super bummed I missed out on the Bob Dylan bashing earlier. Would’ve loved to join in on hating that Soy Bombed, beatnik, shit-voiced, rat terrier mafuckah with all of you.
Metal: A lil mid-paced Swedish black metal hate for y’all. Haven’t listened to Avsky in awhile and this hit all the spots today. Byah!
Wow, that GIF. Facedowninshit.
Good:The Dark Tower. I’m glad I took 8 years off between reads. It’s just enough distance for me to forget basically everything.
Bad:Fox Sports 1. Fuck that channel, I’ve been lucky with finding streams though. Ugly:For an admittedly mostly boring sport, playoff baseball gives me such anxiety. I’ll be watching the Cubs all weekend, which means I’ll be drinking all weekend.
Cubs have been fun to watch. Baez has made some amazing plays.
That one at second that ended up getting reversed was nuts. So close.
It’s not available in my country, allright then.
Nor mine, I’ll have to make do with the DVD
Good: Off work in 2 hours.
Better: 3 day weekend
Ugh: Obligations all weekend.
Why yes, I could totally use another TovH shirt…
Google is paying 97$ per hour! Work for few hours and have longer with friends & family! !zz785f:

Good: my record got shipped earlier
Good: something happened
Bad: not a lot
Good: I got a girl’s number for telling a bunch of stupid popsicle stick jokes, we’re gonna get stoned and go to a screening of the Addams Family movies tomorrow.
Bad: I have to get a hub bearing replaced on my fucking cocksucking car that I just got out of the shop.
Ugly: my cauliflower ear needs drained pretty soon.
I…uh…you have more than one joke about popsicle sticks?
Major League = CLASSIC
Date Related Things:
– I skipped yesterday’s #31DaysofHorror out of respect for the fact that it was only Thursday the 13th
– My surgery date was exactly 5 Months (to weekdate Friday, not to calendar day #) since my surgery. I am still relatively clearly on the mend, but many have said I’m clearly looking better than I did for the entire year before May.
– It’s a month away from the next long weekend (Remembrance Day, which you guys call something else I CBB to look up).
– The downstairs bathroom renovations took a huge step toward completion today, and it might be only a week more until it’s complete up to but not including the light fixtures (backordered, due mid-November).
– There’s a storm looming over B.C. and WA that is rolling in in phases – we’ve had two of the predicted ones pass overnight(s) with very little of the same effect it had on the mainland, but estimates say the next two won’t blow over quite as quickly. On the plus side the worst that could happen (to members of my family) is being without power for two days (though some areas that are under more trees might have reason to worry).
Actually Pretty Funny, Though:
A-ha! I knew it!
Good: Singing along with Michale Graves albums in the car.
Bad: Rancid fish-oil capsules.
Ugly: Studying for the upcoming election. There’s, like, 20 propositions on the ballot, and wading through waist-deep horseshit is a drag.
I hate downballot shit. Like it’s good we get to vote on it and all, but it takes me hours to figure out wtf it even is, or who these city counsel people are who don’t have websites or any positions available online. I refuse to straight ticket vote without knowing what I’m voting for.
Seriously, dude. I study everything on the ballot obsessively. Sometimes it takes hours of online research to find the information necessary for me to make a decision about something.
One of mine was like “Do you want to reduce the amount of people on the Board starting in 2020?” Uhhhh. Sure? I guess? If it means I have to research fewer people in the future I’m all for it lol.
Yeah, really. I once spent the better part of a week studying a handful of judges. I had to look up old articles about cases they presided over, and I read a bunch of their published decisions and stuff. It took way too long.
Good: Black Sabbath’s lesson in how to make a love song sound NOT cringe
Ugly: that rhinoceros sitting in front of me at work
*middle eastern melody* *squeal squeal squeal squeal* *blastbeat* *thick slavic accented spoken word passage* *blastbeat* *squeal squeal squeal*
I’d say “wonderful”, personally.
I was in a state of euphoria the day a physical copy of the album showed up in my mailbox.
How many organs did that cost you?
30 bucks, no organs.
Actually, I bought a lot of out-of-print metal albums for 30 bucks. Maudlin of the Well’s Bath & Leaving Your Body Map, Esoteric’s The Pernicious Enigma, In the Woods’ Omnio, DiSEMBOWELMENT’s Transcendence Into the Peripheral, Evoken’s Antithesis of Light, Suffocation’s Pierced from Within…could probably name a few more.
Oh man I could go for a vintage Transcendence into the Peripheral or Pierced From Within.
My Transcendence Into the Peripheral copy is an original Relapse copy. Still in great shape, but the only problem is that the previous owner for some reason cut off a small part of the upper corner of the booklet.
My Pierced From Within copy is a Metal Mind copy, which is an official European reprint.
DISCOGS INDEED BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good: I’m getting over a pretty bad sinus infection. Woohoo for being able to smell things!
Bad: I had the vet pickup from hell yesterday. My gps refuses to acknowledge the existence of my town and insists on just offering different routes to a similarly named one that is 2 hours away from where I live.
Ugly: I have three math midterms to take. Every day I curse myself for thinking that taking three math classes was a wise idea.
Good: seeing DEP on the 20th
Also good: seeing Kayo Dot with Yowie on the 25th
Bad: …it’s raining right now?
Ugly: me at work the day after the Kayo Dot show
I know Shawn from Yowie, he’s so cool!
Good CDF starts in 4 hours. 3 days of Beer & Metal. How can anything be bad?
Now I’m wishing Temples Fest didn’t get cancelled
Have a great time man!!
Thanks man. The first 2 days have been crazy.
What patches were you looking for? They have a ton fuck of patches here.

They were good.
That’s good. Enjoying everyrhing else?
Yea I had a ball.
With beer and Metal everything is okay.
GOOD: My Lymphatic Phlegm – Pathogenesis Infest Phlegmsepsia LP arrived from Brazil. Didn’t even know this was on vinyl when I was doing my initial collecting, so I had to jump on this when I stumbled across it.
BAD: Hmm, can’t think of too much. Nobody could tell me what band this was yet:
UGLY: Some of the horror I plan to get in this month is gonna be UGLY! The Bite last night was a nice start. All sorts of vomitting, egg laying, face melting, puss filled goodness!
Bad: Got two midterms next week I gotta study for.
Good: This song
You’ll have a great weekend. Enjoy this fine weather we are all having before we all start bitching about how cold it is.
~as the forecast says back into the 80s next week
Good: i dont think my arm is as bad off as it could have been, still have to stay off it for some weeks. preordering Antaeus LP, Uada LP, and maybe that Panphage LP tonight. got my PO Box set up.
Bad: i think i can safely say the Phoenix, AZ post office is a bad. every time i get something shipped from Metal Devastation, it sits in Phoenix for like 4 days for some reason.
Ugly: this knot of tendon in my tricep lol
Where are you getting the Uada?
LOL. Boy band photo. Too funny…
Good: After 9 years the Scottish classic and cultural institution comedy series Still Game returned to TV and it is still fucking excellent. Also going to see comedy rock band The Beards on Sunday.
Bad: My Grandad was supposed to get out of hospital yesterday but it looks like he won’t be out until next week because now his kidneys are not working as well as they should. It should be a case of changing his tablets but its still shite.
Ugly: My hangover.
Speaking about things to flush, here’s my next breakdown request, I post this because I wanna hurt your feelings and kill your faith in humanity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN8_lf9uwiE
