A few weeks back we premiered “Foreskin Noose” by Cannibal Accident on our inaugural edition of the Toilet ov Hell Radio Show. If you enjoyed it half as much as I did, you’ll be stoked for this exclusive premier of this exclusive album stream of Ritual Paprika by this Finnish grind act.

Cannibal Accident have an origin story that appeals directly to moshholes like me:

In the beginning of the year 2007 Lenets and Kolkka were boozing in their hometown of Turku when they ended up in a local rock club. There were several bands playing and the name of the game was grindcore. Yeah, the bands played well but something was missing- Where the hell were the delicious mosh parts that Napalm Death and S.O.D. used to have? As a result, Cannibal Accident were formed to bring you oldschool grindcore with quality mosh parts.

Allow me to describe Ritual Paprika in just a few words: Gross. Raw. Extremely catchy. If you don’t find yourself nodding your head and pumping your fist at some point during these 16 tracks of gory grind/death metal, you may just be too old to party anymore.

Ritual Paprika is out tomorrow on Nailjar records. Pick it up here and go give Cannibal Accident a like on Facebook.

  • I’d rather hear about an incident that could be considered a Cannibal accident

“OH RATS! I’m eating my roommate again, drat!”

  • COAL ROLL

    OUTSTANDING

  • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

    EXCLUSIVE PREMIER!!!
This shit is raw and in your face.

  • COAL ROLL

    LOUDER

  • COAL ROLL

    DIE

  • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

Cannibal Accident is great, as fun as grind gets.
But since when has five guys been a duo?
And moreover, is this actually an exclusive stream?

    • Spear

I don’t see it streaming anywhere else.

    • YourLogicIsFlushed

      Too many questions.

    • It’s exclusive. Beat it, nerd.

      • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

I was so awestruck at the possibility of having an exclusive stream of a band I knew before the Toilet showed it to me, I could not believe my eyes.

  • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

1:07 mark in Cancer Coated Earth Cake, shit just got real.

    • Eliza

The shit had been real since the album started.

      • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

HA! Very true. But that part hit like a wall of bricks.

        • Eliza

          Or an avalanche of boulders.

    • BREEEEEEEEEE

      • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

        BUT THAT RIFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eliza

I like this a lot, surprisingly, since I’m not the greatest fan of this genre.

    • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

I enjoy grind a great deal, but more in a live setting. On tape it’s seldomly anything special. When I buy a physical copy of grind album, it’s mostly a band/album with some more ideas and a greater deal of creativity to it. Such as Pig Destroyer, Brutal Truth, modern day Napalm Death…

      • Eliza

I agree that grind is better live, since it’s practically made to mosh to.

        • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Yeah, it’s great live music. There are few bands that try to set themselves apart from another though. And when it comes to the straight-up no bullshit kind of grind, in my opinion there are few (if any) that do it better than the OG classics have already done in the past.

          • Eliza

Not only are these songs fast and heavy, but they are pretty short, making them perfect for someone who is often busy like me. I think it’s time I seriously got into grind.

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Well, I think the genre isn’t as explorable as for instance DM is. With DM or BM you have a lot of bands that have created unique identities within the ‘boundaries’ of the genre. That’s less prevalent in grind. Live I’d go see any grind band. There are a lot of bands that are good at playing grind, but at the end of the day that’s all what they play: stock grind. In my physical collection, if I have some old school Napalm Death and Terrorizer and then some later Napalm Death, some Brutal Truth and a few Pig Destroyer albums…that’s kinda all I need.

          • Eliza

That’ll be about all I need too.

          • You ever listen to Nausea? It features Oscar Garcia of Terrorizer. Oldschool as fuck.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USpo13Xeg08

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

I’ve heard of the name, but this is the first time I’m listening to them. Quite grimy.

          • They are usually confused with the slightly more well know crust punk Nausea from New York. Who are rad, but Nausea L.A. are just vicious!

          • COAL ROLL

            Pete Sandoval>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross
          • COAL ROLL

oh yes..if only trey accompanied him

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

That would be too much for us to handle.

          • Agreed.

Pete Sandoval’s triggered drum sound <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

          • COAL ROLL

it’s not as pronounced on some of the early MA’s thankfully

          • Yeah, it progressively got worse. Altars of Madness is perfection.

          • COAL ROLL

bout to get that full dynamic range repress

          • Rad!

      • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

Did you check out Venomous Concept?

        • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Yeah I enjoyed it, though it’s more of the punk-inspired no-bullshit type of grind. Nothing wrong with that.

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

            Not at all.

        • VC is a super group that is pretty super.

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

You are correct sir! Anything with Danny Lilker is super in my book.

    • Owlswald

I’m with you but the new Gadget was right up my alley. Give it a spin: https://gadgetband.bandcamp.com/

      • Eliza

I was on the fence about checking this out, but I like what I hear.

  • The early era Carcass worship is strong with this one. Reminds me a lot of General Surgery. Speaking of which, we need some new General Surgery material. Long over due for those maniac surgeons.

    • sweetooth0

Sounds like a Razorback Records band for sure.

      • sweetooth0

when they were still churning out lots of Carcass worshiping grind stuff.

  • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

These guys do a Judas Priest and Twisted Sister cover for this comp, along with a whole bunch of other bands and covers.

    https://tornfleshrecords.bandcamp.com/album/by-hook-or-by-crook-covered-in-sin

    • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

There are 60 covers in this comp ranging from modern pop to death metal. It’s almost frightening.

  • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

    🙁

    • Eliza

      What’s wrong?

      • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

        this isnt black metal

        • just close your eyes and pretend they’re wearing silly makeup.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

im gonna go listen to Emperor now . . .

            oops! i meant Immortal

          • Enjoy your classic rock, gramps.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

Pfffffffffffffffffttttt. If it’s not Nergal’s stuff when he founded Sarcofago, it’s not real black metal.

        • Eliza

Interesting complaint. The only solution is, I guess, to go and listen to some black metal. Do you know Elderwind?

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            link me up grrl

          • Eliza

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFYsuQoi6ew This is the kind of black metal I like best

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            yeahhhhhhhhhhhh

            dem pianos

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

What’s your opinion on Negura Bunget?

          • Sir Tapir The Based

            A good.

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

They got a bit meh after Om though.

          • I saw them live once. Too drunk to remember much other than that they were just weird.

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

They play more of an experimental type of BM. Probably not really your style. First time I listened to Om, the album really surprised me with the twists and turns it took. Never got that experience from any of their later albums again.

          • Sir Tapir The Based

Tbf Om is so good it’s hard to top it.

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

That is a pretty correct opinion.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

For once, I’ll definitely agree with you on this one.

          • Eliza

I LOVE them. And it’s great to see them get recognition from international fans.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

            Excellent CD!

          • Well I was gonna check this out, but bandcamp seems to be shitting itself atm on my end.

          • Bummer dude. I just got the CD early this week so I don’t have to worry about stupid internets.

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

            Physical media>>>>>>>>>>

          • Always.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

Mailmanbro working hard for me. i have 6 LPs en route

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Mine will have to work harder this month: 11 CD’s coming up.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            Frank!

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Also, I ordered both the Drudkh and the Alcest album.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            youre my new fav!

          • FrankWhiteKingOfNY

Yeah, I didn’t have any Drudkh or Alcest in my physical collection yet. That shit don’t fly.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

noooope. im still working on getting all the drudkh LPs, theres a couple hard to get ones. alcest even harder (but Ominous Domain has some)

          • I got two Stabat Mater CD’s coming my way today. Ever check that Mikko Aspa project out. Rad funeral doom shit.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H_F6j0rM94

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

i havent heard of this project, but i can always FUNeral doom.

          • Glad to find some physical media of the project. Shit’s near impossible to find here.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls
          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

They sure put the funeral in doom with this one.

          • Yeah! BLEAK!

          • Boss theSpeedMetalBastard Ross

I have a few things en route as well.

          • Sir Tapir The Based

Mailmanbro is being slow with me.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

I haven’t even bothered to check my mail. My friend back home (Chicago) sent me some movies, but not sure if they came yet. It’s a long, 30 second walk from my porch to the mail box when I’m having a smoke break. :-p

          • CyberneticOrganism

            You hear the new Moonsorrow?

          • Sir Tapir The Based

I may have. I may have liked it. I may have really liked it. I may have really really liked it.

          • Oh it worked now. Good shit!

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

ill put this on my docket of shit to do when i get home.

            tnx tyronious

          • No problem. One of my favorite black metal albums so far this year. Figured I’d pass it along.

          • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

            Good to have you back!

        • Sir Tapir The Based

That’s a serious problem with most bands.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            Tapir!

          • Sir Tapir The Based
          • Paddlin’ Rites ov Beargod

Is that a typo or are they just dumb?

          • Sir Tapir The Based

            It’s a typo.

          • Ol Dirty Blastbeard

            this is tight bhole

        • You read my mind’s butt.

  • Bands with breakdowns>>>>>>>>other bands

  • Count_Breznak

Did I miss someone suggesting “Foreskin Cannibal – Noose Accident” ?

  • Guacamole Jim

I can’t wait to get some wi fi so I can jam this mother fucker!!

  • Lisa Ling: Devourer Of Souls

Goatdayum, this is pretty good! Sorta reminds me of Intestine Baalism a bit, but sped up.

  • These tunes are dope.

Def a good pick me up!

  • Big thanks to Joe for setting this up with us!

  • Coprolytic

Bad ass! I’ve been down the doom and death metal rabbit holes for so long, I’ve overdue for a grind revival in my mind. I saw a local Austin grind/powerviolence band recently, Clit Eastwood, that was pretty rad. Diverse line-up, with a female vocalist who walked circles in the crowd the entire set.

  • sweetooth0
    • Such a rad label. So much gross.

  • this is great music to listen to whilst at work. yep.

    • Coprolytic

+1 I’m writing WordPress site documentation as I give this a second spin.

  • Waynecro

This is fuckin’ awesome! Thanks to the Toilet and the band for this exclusive stream!
